ATW – Easter Making Day in the Early Years

Today in Early Years we had lots of fun making spring crafts.  In Nursery we had fun wrapping wool around cardboard to make a colourful chick as well as using cotton wool to create a fluffy spring lamb.  In Red class the children were painting salt dough eggs and using lots of sequins and feathers to make vibrant chicks.  In Yellow class we were planting sunflower seeds we had harvested in autumn from last years sunflowers, completing the life cycle of a sunflower.  The children had fun decorating their bunny pots making some very striking bunnies!  They also made a bunny card which will be written in next week.  All of the crafts are making the classrooms looking very spring like, just in time for us to start to spot the signs of spring outside.

Lots of family members gave up their time to come in and support the children in their crafts and we wanted to say a big thank you to them.
