This week, we have been celebrating friendship week.
We started the week with an assembly all about friendship, the importance of having friends and we discussed the qualities of a good friend? On Wednesday, we had ‘Odd Sock Day’ to celebrate differences and being unique.
Throughout the week, the children had lots of opportunities to complete tasks all about friendship, one of which was to make friendship bracelets for each other. The children really enjoyed this.
In Reception, they made a lovely display of themselves and their friends and showed us all that we need our friends for the world to be a happy place.
We ended the week with team building games. Ms Smythe, hosted a fun filled session full of fun activities i.e. parachute games, races etc which allowed the children to have fun with their friends and learn how to work together to achieve a goal.
