WHINF: bye bye butterflies!
This week has been very exciting for reception as we released the butterflies we have been taking care of.

This week has been very exciting for reception as we released the butterflies we have been taking care of.
This term Reception have been participating in weekly yoga lessons with our lovely yoga instructor Rachel.
This week in Reception we were fortunate enough to have a very exciting visit from ‘Zoo Lab’!
What an exciting experience reception have had today! We were visited by our local firefighters and were able to see a fire truck up close.
This week Reception have been reading the African themed version of the story ‘The Princess and the Pea’ by the author Rachel Isadora.
This week in reception we have been reading the traditional tale ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
This week Reception have had a fun filled week learning about the fairytale ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’.
This week we welcomed back Reception and jumped straight into our new topic ‘Once upon a time’.
This week Reception have delighted in taking part in a range of creative activities to represent the beginning of the new season, spring!
This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Zog and the Flying Doctors’ by Julia Donaldson.
Reception have recently changed our role play areas to represent our new ‘To the Rescue’ topic.
This week Reception have started our new ‘To the Rescue!’ topic where we will be learning all about the incredible people who help us.
This week has been ‘Thematic Week’ at WHINF. Which means that in Reception we have been concentrating on making monster masterpieces!
This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Bog Baby’ by the author Jeanne Willis.
For the past two weeks we have immersed ourselves in the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson.
