WHINF: Fee fi fo fum!

This week in reception we have been reading the traditional tale ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The children have created story maps and used them to help retell the story. In Orange class the children have had the pleasure of role-playing the story in their very own Giant’s Castle. As you walk into reception you can hear children chanting “Fee fi fo fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman!” The children have also been developing their craft skills by making items from the story such as harps and beanstalks. When reading the story the children loved the magic beans! They made their own magic beans and thought about what they would wish for if they had some. What would you wish for if you had a magic bean?
