This half term, Reception have been learning about the ‘People who help us’ in our community.

To help get everyone excited about books, we hosted our annual ‘Books, Beans and Bagels’ breakfast morning.
Ecclesbourne were luckily enough to have author Michael DeSouza visit this week.
On Monday, Paul Lyalls visited Ecclesbourne to kick start this year’s Book Week.
Last week, we had a very special visit from Magic Breakfast who helped us create our Magic Makers Festive Breakfast.
Today, both our year 1 classes had the most exciting adventure as they jetted off to the moon.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our first Reception Reading Café of this academic year.
Last week, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had an exciting visit from author James Allen.
There is nothing better than spending time with your friends and family, reading a good book and enjoying a snack.
Today, Rockets and Stars classes had a very exciting visit from ZooLab.
On Tuesday, year 2 children took the bus and tram to Morden Hall Park to become habitat explorers for the day.
Over the past term, a number of our KS2 children have been taking part in an amazing Creative Wellbeing Project.
This year Ecclesbourne have been lucky enough to be apart of the Green Project, a health and wellbeing programme which aims to teach young people about planting, growing, harvesting, cooking and eating.
CALAT (Croydon Adult Learning and Training) have been running family language classes in our Willow centre for our parents and carers.
