ATW Reception news – graduation, parties and fun!

What a wonderful way to finish an incredible year in Reception! It has been a week full of celebrations, smiles and special memories as we reflected on everything the children have achieved during their very first year at school.

The children had a fantastic time at our class party, enjoying dancing, party games and lots of laughter with their friends. The party food was definitely a highlight, and everyone loved celebrating together!

On Friday, the children made their very own graduation hats before taking part in a special graduation photo session. They looked so proud as we celebrated the end of their Reception journey and all of the amazing progress they have made throughout the year.

In music, the children have been practising a selection of songs for their graduation. They performed beautifully for their teachers, singing with confidence and enthusiasm. We were so proud of each and every one of them.

Red Class also had a wonderful visit to Forest School where they enjoyed harvesting and cooking the potatoes they had grown earlier in the year. To finish their adventure, they toasted marshmallows over the fire—a perfect way to celebrate their final week together.

As we say goodbye to Reception, we would like to thank all of our families for your continued support throughout the year. It has been a privilege to watch the children grow in confidence, kindness and independence. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and know they are more than ready for their exciting adventure in Year One.

We wish all of our wonderful Reception children a happy, restful summer holiday and look forward to hearing all about their new adventures in September!
