Our Year 1 classes had a fantastic time exploring the local library yesterday! For many of our children, it was their very first visit, and they were excited from the moment we set off.
The children were absolute superstars, walking beautifully and representing our school so well. Once inside, they were treated to a wonderful story session led by the brilliant library staff, and a talk about what the library has to offer the local community. From adventurous pirates to magical creatures, the children loved exploring the endless shelves of books and discovering new stories to dive into.
Thank you so much to our parent volunteers who helped make this trip possible. We definitely have some inspired, budding readers in Year 1!
