On the Thursday before half term, teams of Year 5 children from EPS and Cypress Upper entered the annual Royal Russell Maths Challenge, Pitting their wits against around twenty other schools from all over London, they took part in various problem-solving and arithmetic challenges to earn points and try to bring the trophy home. Although they didn’t win, the children had a great afternoon and certainly exercised their mathematical muscles. Well done to both teams for their effort and perseverance against some top class opposition!
