In literacy we have been looking for signs of spring and reading the story of “Clean Up”. We noticed flowers blooming, birds singing and bees buzzing. The story taught us about caring for our environment and working together to keep places tidy. It helped us think about how we can look after nature in our own community every day. We enjoyed sharing ideas and drawing pictures of springtime changes we could see around us.
In maths we have been learning to double numbers up to 5. We used objects, our fingers, and drawings to help us understand what doubling means. We practised doubles like 1 and 1, 2 and 2, and up to 5 and 5. This helped us see patterns and build confidence with numbers. We enjoyed playing games and working with our partners to solve problems and explain our thinking clearly.
