Last week Year 2 brought their Thematic topic alive by visiting London. Having studied The Great Fire of London in history last half term it was incredible to visit Pudding Lane, where the fire started. We also saw The Monument, which was built to remember the fire. Walking across London Bridge, we saw the River Thames, St Paul’s Cathedral and many other famous landmarks. Visiting The Garden at 120 was a highlight as we had a great view over the city and could see so many famous landmarks. It was a clear day so we even managed to spot The London Eye in the distance.
