On Wednesday, the children in Year 6 at EPS visited The British Museum.
As soon as we stepped into the Museum, we were amazed by all of the incredible ancient artefacts! We were also able to imagine the protagonists, Sadie and Carter, from our current English book, ‘The Red Pyramid’, on their adventures around the rooms of the museum.
Seeing the Rosetta Stone was a highlight of the trip as well as seeing all of the ancient Egyptian mummies! We were also lucky enough to see the Benin Bronzes and the Parthenon Marbles. We had a fantastic time and feel very inspired!
