Year 2 classes across Whitehorse have been privileged to visit Hampton Court Palace this week. To enrich their Thematic learning, The Terrible Tudors, they were able to explore one of Henry VIII’s most famous homes. Together they enjoyed exploring the kitchen which housed an open fire on which Tudor’s would have roasted their meat. In Henry’s apartments, we discovered The Great Hall and The Chapel. To our amazement, we got to see the royal crown too! Each class enjoyed a Tudor workshop with a member of the Palace education team. Look out for the dancing we learned!
