This week we used the story So Much by Trish Cooke to help us talk about our families. The children enjoyed listening to the story and discussing the different family members who came to the party. It was a great way to explore the idea of families being made up of different people, and the children were excited to share who is in their own family. We created drawings and talked about the special people in our lives. In maths we explored the composition of 2, 3 and 4. The children used practical resources such as counters and cubes. These activities helped to build their early addition skills and deepen their number sense in a fun and meaningful way.
