We want to say a big welcome to all of our new pupils and their families in our Nursery. It has been lovely to see how well the children are settling into their new routines and enjoying their play. It was lovely to hear them saying ” I like school!”, ” I want to play some more!” The children have also been learning how to look after the resources in their classroom by putting them away in the right place when they have finish with them. We are also practising asking for a turn and how to share the resources with our new friends. This week, we have been learning the songs ‘Five Little Ducks’ and ‘Five Little Monkeys’. Next week, we will learning about the story of ‘Owl Babies’. We will have learning activities based on this story and we will be practising our counting skills and recognising quantities of one.
