As part of our thematic learning, Year 3 at Whitehorse and Brigstock visited Crystal Palace Park to view where the Great Exhibition once took place. We had a great day viewing the historical landmarks including the famous dinosaur models created by Waterhouse Hawkins and the statue of Joseph Paxton. We discovered the recently renovated sphynxes and discovered why they are found in the park. We managed to escape from the maze and also found time to go fossil hunting in the sandpit! Some even managed to visit the farm! A great day was had by all. Have a look at our pictures below.
