After months of incredible dedication, focus and hard work, our wonderful Year 6 students have officially finished their SATs! To celebrate this huge milestone, year 6 headed down to the O2 for a well-deserved day of fun, laughter and celebration. I am incredibly proud of the effort and resilience every single year 6 child has put in this year and this trip was the perfect way to reward them for their fantastic attitude.
The adventure began at Clip ‘n Climb, where the children wasted no time strapping into their safety harnesses and preparing for action. The area was filled with vibrant climbing walls, including timed challenges where friends eagerly raced each other to the top. Teachers were blown away by the confidence and perseverance! Even those who felt a little nervous at the beginning ended up conquering their fears! The bravery was so infectious that some children got to the ‘stairs of heaven’ and even Miss Hassan braved the giant slide!
The excitement continued as we headed over to Hollywood Bowl. After choosing their teams, the children enjoyed a brilliant, friendly game of ten-pin bowling. The energy in the alley was amazing – there were positive vibes and big smiles all around! It was wonderful to see the children enjoying being together after working so hard in the classroom.
Now that SATs are behind us, I am so excited to see what Year 6 will achieve throughout the rest of the school year. We have a lot of exciting activities and events lined up for their final term, so please keep a close eye on Studybugs for more information coming soon.
