To celebrate the end of Spring term, Year 6 baked vegan hot cross buns! First, they measured dry ingredients and were able to use their conversions (converting g and kg) when using the weighing scales. They also used their knowledge of ratios to create 2 batches of dough from a recipe which suggested 1 batch. The children thoroughly enjoyed kneading the dough and most importantly eating them at the end! A well-deserved treat for the hard work they have been putting in.
