On Monday, Year 5 at Ecclesbourne were joined by Brigstock for a visit from a Viking storyteller. Pupils heard about Viking history, took part in retellings of Viking legends, were able to handle weapons and armour and the day was finished with a Viking shield-wall battle between classes.
It was a fantastic way to conclude our Viking thematic work and really brought to life all the learning over the past months.
