EPS’s boys’ football team put in a spirited performance to beat Elmwood 4-2. Although on the scoreboard first, Elmwood roared back with a couple of winners to lead 2-1 going into half time. Johenny and Akai both scored twice in what was a fantastic team effort.
“We had to show strong resilience after we were trailing early on,” one boy explained. “Because we kept fighting, we always knew we were in with a chance,” he continued.
