Buried away in a hidden patch of land at Ecclesbourne, it seems that some strange fruits have been growing. Certainly, nobody from the school planted them and Mr Butters had to bravely hack through the undergrowth to retrieve them once they’d been spotted. Are they some sort of melon? Are they some sort of pumpkin? Have they escaped from the allotments? Can we eat them? Should we cook them? If there is anyone out there who can help us answer any of the questions we’d love to hear from you. In the meantime, we’ll just keep wondering and scratching our heads.
