At WHJUN, Year 4 spent an extraordinary day on Friday experiencing ancient Roman life. The morning started with a fabulous games session where we played Tali, a catching game, and Rota, an ancient form of noughts and crosses. The afternoon was equally as exciting. From duelling with life-sized swords, to trying on armour and sitting on a cavalry saddle, we definitely lived out the old saying: when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
