This month we have enjoyed celebrating Black History together. We were joined virtually by Alim Kamara who inspired us with his storytelling. We have learnt about the black trumpeter John Blanke who played at the funeral of King Henry VII and the coronation of King Henry VIII. Today we celebrated our own cultures by wearing clothing from our culture, or wearing red to support ‘Show Racism the Red Card’.
