Year 2 have been thoroughly enjoying the story ‘Traction Man is Here’ by Mini Grey. We recreated some scenes from the story, bringing them alive with action figures, soil, water and many more items. During our lesson, we immersed ourselves in the experience, acting out Traction Man zooming to save the farm animals in his jet powered rocket boots, diving into the depths of the sink to look for the lost wreck of the sieve, and much more. This week we are writing instructions for Traction Man to carry out a rescue mission to find his pet, Scrubbing Brush. Keep your eyes peeled, he may be coming to a classroom near you soon!
