Over the last few weeks Year 2 classes have visited the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in Dulwich. We were blessed with dry weather and a very warm welcome from our hosts. Children enjoyed making links to their science learning about habitats. They explored the woodland habitat by looking under logs and stones and tree beating to see what creatures they could find. As if that wasn’t enough excitement, they explored a pond habitat and found creatures such as froglets and newts. It was a fantastic and inspiring day.
