There was extra buzz in the air this morning as Year 2 swapped their pencils for theater tickets and headed into the heart of London. For many of our young adventurers, today marked a massive milestone: their very first time experiencing the magic of live theater!
The destination was the famous Unicorn Theatre to catch the spectacular stage adaptation of Zanib Mian’s hit book, Planet Omar. From the moment the lights went down, the children were completely captivated by the imaginative and hilarious main character. The theater was filled with gasps and giggles, though it was a certain prop that nearly stole the show for one audience member. Isabella, Year 2’s resident automotive critic, proclaimed, “I just loved the family’s car!”
The fun didn’t stop when the curtains closed, as Year 2 took a scenic mini-tour to see the historic Tower of London. Today was a perfect reminder that some of the best learning happens way outside the classroom walls. Seeing the pure joy and endless smiles on the children’s faces made every second of the trip absolutely worth it!
