Get ready for some serious crafting excitement in Year 2! As part of their brilliant new Design and Technology project all about puppets, our fantastic students have been busy mastering the essential art of the running stitch. No, we don’t mean a new dance move! This is real-deal, authentic sewing! The determined children in Lilac and Indigo classes spent hours focused and driven, truly getting the basic technique right under their thimbles. Our classrooms were a bit sweaty from all that intense concentration, but the pure fun and joy in the room were absolutely undeniable. We clearly have some incredibly talented tailors and seamstresses in the making, with Habibah even exclaiming, “I could do this as a job.”
We cannot wait to see these amazing new skills bring their custom puppet creations to life very soon!
