What a magical day Friday was celebrating World Book Day at Whitehorse Manor Infants! Character from the pages of fairy tales, superheroes, Harry Potter, Peter Rabbit, Stick Man, Cat in the Hat, The Wizard of Oz and Fantastic Mr Fox to name but a few filled our halls! We had a special celebration assembly where we found out about World Book Day and took part in a whole school book quiz. Each class awarded a child a prize for the most creative costume and all children went home with their World Book Day token which, don’t forget, can be exchanged in participating stores for one of the completely FREE World Book Day books.
