It’s beginning to feel a lot like…

We always have to balance when we start Christmas at Whitehorse Manor Junior School.  We want to make sure that learning is maximised, but at the same time we are keen that our pupils do get to celebrate some Christmas traditions, because it’s important that our children get to enjoy being children too.  We began with the Christmas hoop decorations which went up on the 1st December.  The theme this year was things to do with Christmas, and these are now hanging in the Junior Hall.  The big tree is up in the Office area and has been joined by flashy Rudolf.  We were so fortunate that our Christmas Assemblies were already organised in class bubbles, so we have been happy to welcome masked parents to watch their children perform and videos of the performances will be uploaded to the class blogs for families to enjoy over the Christmas break.  Finally, today was Christmas Dinner Day and we all enjoyed a great feast whipped up by Chef Morad and the Harrison’s staff.  A great time was had by all.
