This week in nursery we have been learning about rainbow colours. On Monday we all wore odd socks for Friendship Week and we tried to see if we could make up all the colours of the rainbow with our different coloured socks! We have been doing some science experiments with rainbow colours and have watched how rainbow sweets arranged around a plate merge into rainbow colours when water is added. We have also watched a rainbow form as we melted rainbow coloured crayons with a hairdryer. We have really enjoyed playing with the rainbow rice this week and the children have even made the teachers a “spicy chilli” with it! We have also been learning about squares and have been practicing drawing them and have been on a square hunt around nursery!
