Last Friday our Year 1 children walked to Thornton Heath Recreation Ground. They observed seasonal changes affecting the plants and the weather and recorded their findings in their booklets back at school. They also had the opportunity to undertake some field geographical work by looking at physical and human features on their way to the park. This will lead to further mapping and 3-D modelling. Last not least they had lots of fun in the children’s playground area!
