Last week in Reception, the children enjoyed a special visit from Professor Bubbleworks. They became little scientists for the day as they took part in exciting hands-on experiments.
The session focused on exploring changes in materials, and the children had great fun making stretchy slime. Before starting, they shared their predictions about what might happen, with one child saying, “I think it will be sticky!”
The children then mixed the ingredients together and watched as the liquid slowly changed into a solid. They were fascinated by the transformation and enjoyed investigating their slime.
At the end of the session, the children said a big thank you and goodbye to Professor Bubbleworks. They were excited to take their slime home and had a wonderful time learning and working as scientists.
