Year 1 recently took an exciting stroll into the community to observe the seasonal shift from summer to autumn at our local park.
Along the route, the children spotted key Thornton Heath landmarks, including the iconic Clock Tower, the busy train station, and the library.
This hands-on walk serves as the perfect springboard for our upcoming geography unit, where we will explore our local area and learn to identify both human and physical features.
The day wrapped up with plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed exploring Thornton Heath, having fun in the park playground and not forgetting collecting mountains of conkers!
