Beulah- Book Week Launch!
Yesterday, we launched our ‘Book Week’ celebrations in style at Beulah.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Some parents from the Gold class have participated in ‘Bookstart’ workshops.
This morning we welcomed Parents and Carers into Beulah Infants for our Museum Day.
This week, we have been looking at how we can look after our mental health.
Last week, the Beulah community were treated to two very wonderful theatrical productions from Indigo class and Lilac class.
Over the last two weeks, the children in Gold Class have been learning about the story of the Three little pigs.
This half term, children from across all the Pegasus schools came together to perform poems in front of a panel of judges.
Last Monday and Tuesday, parents and carers with children in Year 1 and Reception were invited into school to watch how we teach their children phonics.
Our YR1 classes would like to say a HUGE Thank you to Mrs Jenkins, who embarked us yesterday on a journey back in time… The children were so excited to learn about the old toys and to explore how they worked.
This week in Nursery we read about The Gingerbread Man and wanted to make one of our own.
This week in reception, we had our own very special visitor called Professor Bubbleworks.
This half term our focus author is Mick Inkpen. He began his career as a graphic designer and worked on a cartoon strip for the Sunday Express newspaper.
We have had a very Christmassy, musical week at Beulah! Our choir has been very busy.
Last week, the children all took part in their amazing Christmas performances and concerts.
Gold, Red and Yellow classes have been working really hard over the last few weeks on perfecting their Christmas performances and completing various Christmas craft activities.
