We had the absolute best day ever in Reception at Beulah when real-life heroes came to visit us! The amazing firefighters drove their big, shiny red fire engine right into our school, and we all got to climb aboard to see exactly where the brave crew sits. We even got to play dress-up, popping on their giant helmets and heavy jackets to look just like real firefighters ready to save the day! The most exciting part of all was when they let us hold the heavy hose and squirt a massive splash of water all across the path. It was such a fun adventure, and we learned so much about how these fantastic community helpers keep us all safe! One child asked them “Where do you put smoke alarms?”
