We have had a very exciting visitor this week in Nursery! On Wednesday, we welcomed the ladies from pets on the green and all their wonderful pets! They had; snakes, chameleons, bearded dragons, cockatoos, hedgehogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and a tortoise! The children were so brave and held or stroked every animal. It was so much fun.
We have been reading the story Teeny Weeny Tadpole this week. The children have learnt all about the life cycle of a frog and the habitat that frogs/tadpoles like to live in. Our sound of the week was ‘r’. The children put on their best pirate expressions to practice their pronunciation. We found rabbits, rockets, rats, rhinos and the colour red!
In maths, we have been learning about the numeral 3. the children have practiced writing number 3 and matching amounts to the number.
