Since returning from half term the corridors in Year 2 have been heard roaring with laughter, squealing with delight and gasping in horror as children have discovered Roald Dahl’s terrible twits. Children have found this text highly enjoyable and engaged. We have learned how to use expanded noun phrases whilst creating our own Mr Twit’s dirty beards. We have remembered how to use imperative verbs to write commands, whilst writing our own disgusting spaghetti recipes. Next week we are looking forward to creating our own tricks for Mr Twit to play!
