Year 2 had quite an incredible experience this morning. You could call it complete immersion into their new English book ‘The Bear and The Piano’. The children in Ash Class walked to main site, where they joined with the rest of Year 2. On their way into the hall, each child was given an admission ticket. There they sat in front of a piano. What they were yet to realise was that they were the audience for quite a wonderful concert. To their amazement, a bear appeared from behind the curtains. The bear shyly took a bow and then began to play the most beautiful melodies on the piano. After the performance, Year 2 went on to hear their new story and they are very excited to get stuck into their new learning.
