Ey ey shipmates! Year 2 have launched into their final English unit with a fantastic pirate day. Everyone dressed up in style and we enjoyed playing games together and taking part in a treasure hunt. We all got to keep a piece of treasure. We read the story ‘Captain Sparklebeard’ and enjoyed acting out scenes from the book. Next week we will be creating our own treasure map and writing instructions to find the treasure. We’d better behave ourselves otherwise we might get asked to walk the plank!
