CYP Upper: All-round agile learners!

This week we have been thinking about how to stay resilient, even when we are faced with obstacles.  We discussed in assembly the US Open champion, Emma Radacanu, and thought about how she gets ready for a match.  She would likely practise specific shots and abilities, work on her general stamina, strength, coordination, self-awareness and ability to be strategic.  She makes sure that her body and mind are as fit and as sharp as they can be. We reflected on the facts that our Building Learning Power skills help us to develop this kind of all-around learning fitness and our resilience helps with our readiness.

Today we all wore Jeans for Genes. It was lovely to see regular jeans, dungarees, skirts and shorts all worn in aid of this fantastic charity. We will update you with the total raised as soon as we have the total.

We also celebrated our Rainbow winners. This week they are:
