In Year 2 we have been looking at the superhero story Traction Man by Mini Grey. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the literacy unit so far as they have been acting out scenes from the story and thinking of heroic phrases a hero might say. One child said “Don’t fear, Traction Man is here!”
However on Thursday our adventures with Traction Man had come to halt! He had disappeared! We could not find him and instead we found a ransom note. Traction Man has been kidnapped and the villains will not return him unless we give them Scrubbing Brush. How shocked we were! The children have written wanted posters to help find this superhero so they can help his side kick and bring him home. Watch out for our next story to see the upcoming events.
