Everyone gathered in our assembly today to give thanks and remember all those who had sacrificed their lives in wars. Mr Smith played “The Last Post”, we all sang a special song he had written, we looked at photographs of soldiers in our families and we marched out to “It’s A Long Way To Tipperary.” Each class had made poppy tributes and we all paid our respects by observing the two minutes’ silence.
