Today, award-winning poet and rap artist, Karl Nova, visited EPS to work with our KS2 children. He delivered an inspirational assembly, sharing his life story and how he followed his heart to become a successful poet (as well as performing some of his poems, of course).
Karl ran some brilliant poetry workshops with Year 6 focusing on haiku poems. Children were encouraged to explore their creative sides and write about what felt meaningful to them. Karl had a wonderful time at our school and said he wishes he could come back again tomorrow!
