On Friday 21st November, primary and secondary schools across Croydon have joined together to fundraise for The Hurricane Melissa Appeal. Croydon has a significant Jamaican community, and many of our staff and students’ families have been directly or indirectly affected by this tragedy. In partnership with the Croydon BME Forum, Pegasus schools are participating in a borough-wide mufti day / non-uniform day to raise funds for the relief effort. The goal across Croydon is to raise £5,000 to support the purchase of school equipment, resources, and other urgently needed items for affected schools in Jamaica.
Thank you to those who have donated today!
- Ecclesbourne Primary School – £443.50
- Whitehorse Manor Junior School (main site) – £315
- Thornton Heath Nursery School – £106
