Trials for the year 5 team to compete at the Croydon School Sports Cross-Country Championships took place last Friday. Four laps of our “Daily Mile” circuit was the challenge and many of the children completed their laps without stopping to walk. It was an exciting event with lots of participants and support offered to friends and peers in good sportsmanship. While the quality was high, we can only take 4 boys and 4 girls for our team who will compete at the Royal Russell school next Wednesday 30th September. If you missed out this year, you’ve got a year to start training for next year’s event!
