What an exciting experience reception have had this week! We were visited by our local firefighters and were able to see a fire truck up close. The firefighters spoke to the children about the importance of having a fire alarm and what they should do in an emergency. They were all very excited to have a go at using the hose to splash out water and learn about the special clothing that firefighters wear. Once they were back in class they all announced that they wanted to be firefighters when they grow up!
