It was lovely to see so many parents and carers joining in with our Harvest Festival celebration assembly on Friday. The children’s beautiful singing helped explain that Harvest Festival was originally a celebration of the food grown on the land. We also thought about how we are lucky to enjoy food and shelter and thanked our families for helping to care for others in our community. On behalf of ‘Nightwatch’ I would like to thank all of our generous parents / carers that very kindly donated food and toiletries which will be distributed to homeless and other vulnerable people in Croydon.
