Our year 1 children have made a fantastic start and have settled well into their new routines. It has been wonderful to see them learn and play with big smiles on their faces. During these first few weeks, we have been focusing on reading and writing our tricky words, naming and recognising 2D shapes and working with numbers from 1-10. The children have all shown a keen interest in our wonderful new outdoor mud kitchen. A huge thank you to our PTFA, your kind purchase and continued support has helped to create an amazing space for our young learned to enjoy for years to come!
