This week saw the first ever clash of the Girls’ football teams from Whitehorse and Ecclesbourne. The girls have been training hard since the beginning of the year and this was their first competitive match. In a close- fought encounter Ecclesbourne eventually ran out 2-1 winners with goals from Chaman and Daniella. The girls returned to school with big smiles and a new sense of pride in their team. The match was played in an excellent sporting spirit and we look forward to a return match where the teams can get to test themselves against each other again.
