CYP: Celebrating a Successful Term
It has been a busy four days in the run up to the Christmas after what has been a very long term.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. It has been a busy four days in the run up to the Christmas after what has been a very long term.
A very wet and miserable Tuesday afternoon exploded in to a symphony of music and colour as our wonderful Year 2 children treated us to an upbeat mini concert.
The hall was packed this morning in anticipation of the Year 1 singing concert and it certainly was a show to remember.
In a thrilling journey back in time, Year 5 celebrated Viking Day, immersing themselves in the rich history and culture of the legendary Norse seafarers.
It has been a very busy week at Cypress with lots of Christmas performances and plenty of hard work taking place!
The Christmas celebrations and festivities have been building this week in Little Cypress!
Reception treated us to the most amazing two performances of: ‘It’s a Wriggly Nativity’ on Tuesday and Thursday mornings this week.
We are feeling festive at Cypress! The Christmas trees are up and the decorative Christmas hoops are on display in the hall.

We started the day at the Lower School today with a fabulous assembly from Ruby Class.
Jack Frost visits Cypress! Jack Frost paid us a visit this week!
We have been showing our resilience this week at Cypress. Winter is now here and the weather this week has been bitterly cold but we have still managed to enjoy the learning and have fun with our friends!
Year 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Crystal Palace park this week.
Two of our Year 1 classes enjoyed a day packed with activities at the Science Museum.
Year 6 were lucky enough to have PC Rick Flynn and PC Martin Allen come in and discuss issues the children might face with their transition to Secondary School.
