Cypress joined The Pegasus Academy Trust in September 2017 and officially ‘closed’ at the point, only to reopen the next day as an Academy.

Under its new status it was inspected by Ofsted in October 2019 and judged to be ‘Good‘ which reflects the work that the staff and Members of the Academy Council (MACS) have done at the school since its previous inspection.  While this ‘health check’ from the inspectorate is pleasing it is just one more stepping stone on our quest for excellence.  We aim to remain the first choice for parents who have always appreciated the care and education their children have received at Cypress and the values that make it a school at the heart of its community.
